Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&CO.) strives to provide the world's
casual workday wardrobe, inside and out. LS&CO., the world's #1
maker of brand-name clothing, sells jeans and sportswear under
the Levi's, Dockers, and Levi Strauss Signature names in more
than 110 countries. It also markets men's and women's underwear
and loungewear. Levi's jeans - department store staples - were
once the uniform of American youth, but LS&CO. lost touch with
the trends in recent years. In response, the company has
transformed its product offerings to include wrinkle-free and
stain-resistant fabrics used in the making of some of its Levi's
and Dockers slacks. The Haas family (relatives of founder Levi
Strauss) owns LS&CO.

Reduced implementation and training costs
The Traditional POS system using wire access was built up throughout
the country in the past. But as the variety of terminal sales,
increased usage of credit cards, and diversification requirements
increased, so did the disadvantages of having the traditional wire
access POS system.
Because of communication lines, wire POS is not able to be used in
many mini type merchants and consumer places, which leads wire POS
to large scale market place and top level consumer places. CDMA
would solve this problem. You can select promotion point, sales
point, and office place freely. In short, where there is an on-line
connection, a transaction is able to be processed.
By using the CDMA solution, Levi’s was able to achieve a faster
roll-out, look past the web installations, improve efficiency, and
reduce operation costs.
